Stan Cox was born in Texas, and raised in Oklahoma. Stan describes his music as "Mod'ditional", because his songs are Modern country music with a BIG dose of Traditional Country.

Stan is married to LaDanna, and together they have 15+children.

Stan has been performing for audiences since the age of 8 years old, and released his first album in August of 2008, after being discovered and encouraged to do so by International Music Promoter, Gary Bradshaw, and Nashville Record Producer, Lonnie Ratliff.
With the release of his 1st album "Runnin' Down The Road", Stan was welcomed to country music radio worldwide.

2009 ends with a 'bang' for Country Singer/Songwriter/Performer, Stan Cox. "Hits" , the proclaimed Internet Indie Play Authority, slaps Stan into the #69 slot of most Internet Radio Airplay's for the year 2009, in their list of 100 top plays. The #69 slot was for a song from Stan's yet to be released album titled "Angel's, Trucker's & Honky'Tonk Nights". "Hard Rain Comin' Down" has had a successful run since being released as a single in late September of 2009.

New Music Weekly pops Stan into the #28 slot in their top 30 country chart, as year 2009 ends, and favors him as the #13 favorite Indie Artist. Stan enjoyed a successful 4 month run in the top favored music chart.
